2023 Holiday Gift Guide

There's nothing we love more than sharing with you the things we love — especially when they're made by small businesses like us, and/or are made ethically and sustainably.

This (and every) holiday season, the best gifts support makers who pour their hearts into their products that are always made with love, and that help the planet along the way!!!

2023 Holiday Gift Guide

The Gift Guide turns three this year (wow!), and we have featured so many amazing makers in the past. To find even more incredible gift inspo, head to our 2021 and 2022 Gift guides.

Province of Canada
As a repeated victim of targeted Instagram advertisements, I have never been more happy with a purchase than the Province of Canada Slipper Socks. Pair these socks with a book and a candle for the most adorable self-care bundle to give to your best friend this holiday season. Located in Ontario, Province of Canada has a ton of other cute apparel as well, and all made in Canada which is super important to us!

Lost Bell Wine
Becca and I were instantly drawn to Lost Bell wine because of the beautiful branding (we will truly buy anything that looks cute). We have been let down in the past by products that do not taste as good as they look, but this was by far not the case with Lost Bell!!! We are not lying when we say we have tried every single wine they offer and have not been disappointed once. Whether you are a red wine lover, a white wine lover, a rose lover, or, like us, an all wine lover, you will find something you love in Lost Bell's collection of wines.

SJH + Maleia Collective
When we were coming up with our list of faves for this year's gift guide, we discovered that SJH was on BOTH of our lists. Becca has the loveliest pair of earrings and I just bought THIS gorgeous ring a few weeks ago from Sarah at Christmas at the Forum. We are obsessed.

Classy Cards
We have been fans of Classy Cards for years and could not believe our luck when they reached out to us to do a collab. You truly cannot go wrong with anything from Classy Cards for a gift that will make the recipient laugh out loud and ask WHERE DID YOU GET THIS? Our biased recommendation is to go with one of the Alben Lane X Classy Cards candles - our favourite label is the Have a Nice Poop but we also recommend snagging some of their gift bags for all of your gifts this holiday season.

Blume
While we were enjoying a brunch date at Almonak we decided to treat ourselves with lavender lattes to go with our meals. One sip and we were obsessed, we found out through the server that they use Blume's Lavender Latte Mix and I immediately went to the source to placed an order for ALL of the latte mixes Blume had in stock at the time. Blume is a fellow Canadian company, based in Vancouver, and sells a ton of different superfood and latte blends that taste literally amazing either on their own or blended with your favourite coffee.

Love & Lather
Shante at Love & Lather is one of the most talented makers we have ever had the joy of meeting—her soaps, scrubs and body butters are to DIE for. Our faves have to be the Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Foaming Sugar Scrub, and the Oatmeal & Coconut Milk Body Butter. If you have not tried her products, it's a must-try! They make great gifts for a loved one, or yourself hehe.

Hive to Home
One of our favourite market friends and most used household items of all time: Hive to Home's incredible beeswax wraps. We both use these literally every single day and that is not an exaggeration. We think that some of the best gifts to give/receive is something functional and cute, with Hive to Home's adorable prints and all different shapes and sizes, we think they make the perfect gift! Pair a pack of their wine-bottle-cover sized wraps with a cute bottle of wine? You are set.

Tangled Garden
We always used to go to Tangled Garden in the summer with our families when we were kids and visiting their beautiful property is such a core memory for us. We still try to make it out there at least once a summer but we pick up their jams and jellies all year-usually at Selby's Bunker whenever we are dropping off an order of candles to them. Our favourite is the Garlic Rosemary Jelly which we enjoy with vegan cheese and crackers for girl dinner. They have super cute gift packs with a variety of their delicious spreads which make great gifts!
